Today’s world is marked by fast paced living, high pressure to
succeed or simply, to survive. Road rage, trolley rage and even office
rage is breeding a new generation of highly aggressive human beings
who have lost their compassion and sensitivity for the human condition.
People are forgetting or perhaps have even forgotten how to express
their needs and wants without violating the rights of others, without
listening so as to understand the other person’s perspective.
People are allowing their aggressive behaviours to become habitual,
without realising the harm being done to self and others, personally
and professionally. Assertiveness skills could be a means to an end
and a beginning to being proactive without being punitive.
Aim of the workshop:
To improve daily interactions through assertiveness and confidence.
